CarComm Coachworks became the second commercial body repair workshop in the country to achieve VBRA Elite Truck & Van Body Repair standard.
VBRA launched this standard in July 2022, to utilise the certifications from the IMI and other bodies to identify the competency of technicians in this complexed repair sector.
Although a Body Repair Standard for Car repair has been in place since 2007, no thought was given to a much more important area of body repair which is Trucks, Bus & Coach, Trailers and Large Vans.
Being no strangers to rigorous auditing (thanks to their last 16 annual Mercedes-Benz audits), CarComm Coachworks were determined to undertake the required audits and inspections put to them by the VBRA.
CarComm Coachworks Ltd pride themselves for returning any make or model of commercial vehicle into its pre-accident state. Investing in the best equipment, specialist staff training and undergo regular audits to maintain the high standard of repair.
It is only right that their effort and investments have been recognized by the VBRA. Becoming only the second commercial body repair workshop in the country to complete the audit and be awarded the Elite Truck & Van Body Repair for Structural Member status for Cab & Chassis Repair Capability.
“This highlights our commitment to the high standard of repair that we give to all of the vehicles that come through our doors.” Commented Jason Mole, Managing Director of CarComm Coachworks Ltd. “and we couldn’t be prouder to lead by example in the standard that has been set out by the VBRA”
